Two experiences, one unforgettable sail
Most tour operators in Cabo San Lucas make you choose. Fishing, or snorkeling. Adventure, or relaxation. We think that is a false choice. Our combo tour packs both into a single day at sea, aboard a luxury catamaran that is built for comfort as much as it is for exploration.
The way it works is simple. From the moment we clear the marina, our fishing lines go out. You can reel one in yourself, or just enjoy the sail while the crew handles everything. Then we anchor at one of our best snorkel sites, get in the water together, and spend real time with the reef life. Full lunch on board, premium open bar, and a bilingual crew that makes sure every part of the day flows the way you want it to.

Part 1 · The Fishing
Trolling the Pacific from a luxury deck
From the moment we clear the marina, the fishing lines go out. This is trolling style fishing, which means we sail at a slow, steady pace with the lines trailing behind, letting the boat do most of the work. Then when a fish hits, one of you gets to reel it in.
The Pacific waters off Cabo San Lucas are famous for a reason. This is one of the most legendary sport fishing destinations in the world, with strong runs of Pacific species that pull hard and put on a real show. Some days everyone reels one in. Some days the ocean is quieter. Either way, having a rod bending over the stern of a Belize 43 catamaran while the sun climbs above El Arco is a Cabo experience that most tourists never get.
You do not need any fishing experience. The crew rigs everything, handles bait, sets the drag, and coaches you through the fight if the moment comes. If you have never touched a rod in your life, you will feel confident. If you are already an experienced angler, you will appreciate that we run good gear and know these waters.
Whatever you catch, we take photos, and the crew filets on request. Then we keep sailing.
Part 2 · The Snorkel
Anchor at the best reef of the day
After the fishing portion, we make our way to one of our favorite snorkel sites and drop anchor. Which site depends on conditions, wind direction, and what the ocean is doing that day, but you will end up at one of these three:
Pelican Rock at Land’s End. A 15 minute sail from the marina, right at the tip of the peninsula where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. Shallow, calm, and packed with colorful reef fish. Ideal for beginners and kids, and always a good time.
Santa Maria Bay. A protected horseshoe cove north of the marina, part of a marine sanctuary. Crystal water, big schools of parrotfish and angelfish, sea urchins on the rocks, and rays gliding by. A little more variety than Pelican Rock.
Chileno Bay. A Blue Flag beach with rockier reefs, deeper edges, and bigger species. Occasional sea turtles. This is where our repeat guests often ask to go.
Full snorkel gear is provided, adult and kid sizes, and the crew gets in the water with you. If snorkeling is not your thing that day, we have 2 paddle boards on board, or you can just enjoy the deck with a drink in hand while everyone else swims.

What comes with the combo
One price, no add ons, no surprises at the dock. Here is exactly what is included in your combo tour.
Choose Your Catamaran
Two vessels, both perfect for the combo
The combo tour is available on either of our catamarans. Both are private charters (just your group, no strangers on board), both include the same full fishing and snorkel setup, and both come with the same premium bar, sailor chef lunch, and bilingual crew. The choice comes down to your group size and the feel you want.
The Zig Zag. Our Belize 43 Fountaine Pajot, one of the most celebrated offshore cruising catamarans ever built. Hosts up to 23 guests with plenty of deck space for fishing, snorkeling, and social time. The right pick for larger groups, corporate outings, big family reunions, or anyone who wants a spacious, social vibe on the water.
The Blue Lagoon. Our Lagoon 43 with 4 private cabins, 4 en suite bathrooms, and a full onboard kitchen. Hosts up to 23 guests in a more intimate, private yacht style setup. The right pick for smaller groups who want more privacy, more comfort, more custom feel, or a celebration where the interior of the catamaran matters (birthdays, anniversaries, quiet luxury).
Not sure which one is right for your group? Just send us a message with your group size and what you have in mind, and we will help you pick.

Combo Tour FAQs
Everything else you might want to know
The most common questions we get about the fishing and snorkel combo. If yours is not here, send us a message and we will answer within a few hours.
What does the Fishing and Snorkel Combo include?
The best of both worlds in a single sail. You get real fishing time with rods, lines, and gear ready to go the moment we clear the marina, then anchor at one of our snorkel sites (Pelican Rock, Santa Maria Bay, or Chileno Bay) for underwater exploration. All snorkel gear included, a full sailor chef lunch, premium open bar, and 2 paddle boards on board. Bilingual crew handles everything.
How long is the combo tour?
The tour runs 4 to 6 hours depending on the season, conditions, and your group's preferences. Longer than a standard snorkel or sunset tour because you are packing two experiences into one sail. If you want more or less time, we can adjust. Just tell us when you book.
What kind of fishing do we do?
Trolling. As soon as we leave the marina the lines go out, so if a Pacific catch hits, you reel it in and the crew handles the rest. It is a relaxed, hands on style of fishing that works well for families, first timers, and experienced anglers alike. No fishing experience required.
What if I do not catch anything?
The Pacific is generous but never guaranteed. Some days the fish are everywhere, some days they are quiet. Either way you still get a full sail on a luxury catamaran, an incredible snorkel session at a protected reef, gourmet lunch, and premium bar. The fishing is a bonus on top of an already spectacular day.
Can we choose which catamaran?
Yes. The Zig Zag is our Belize 43 Fountaine Pajot, ideal for groups up to 23 or for anyone who wants the roomier, more social experience. The Blue Lagoon is our Lagoon 43 with 4 private cabins and 4 bathrooms, ideal for intimate groups up to 23 who want a more private feel. Both come with the same fishing gear, snorkel setup, kitchen, and bar.
Is this a private tour?
Yes, our combo tour is always private. Just your group on the catamaran, no strangers sharing the boat. That means the schedule, the pace, the snorkel site, and even the menu can flex to what your group wants.
What food and drinks are included?
Our sailor chef prepares turkey and cheese baguettes, chips, Mexican salsa and our famous guacamole made fresh on board. Premium open bar: beer, margaritas, red and white wine, rum, vodka, tequila, whisky, soft drinks, juice and water. Custom menus available on request for private groups.
Is the combo tour good for families with kids?
Absolutely. Kids love the fishing part (watching the line, cheering when something bites) and our snorkel sites have calm shallow water perfect for young swimmers. We provide kid sized snorkel gear and flotation vests. Many families with kids as young as 5 or 6 join us regularly.
What should I bring?
Reef safe sunscreen (required in the marine parks), swimwear, a change of comfortable clothes for after snorkeling, a camera or GoPro, and a good attitude. We handle absolutely everything else, from gear to lunch to safety briefings.
When is the best time of year to do this tour?
Any time. Cabo San Lucas enjoys around 350 days of sunshine a year, and the Pacific is fishable and snorkelable year round. Different seasons bring different fish and marine life. December through April also brings whale watching as a possible bonus during the sail.
