About the Vessel
The Most Luxurious Catamaran in Los Cabos
The Zig Zag is a Belize 43 Fountain Pajot — one of the most celebrated offshore cruising catamarans ever built. French-engineered for performance and comfort at sea, she was chosen by Karla and Edgar precisely because she sets a standard no conventional tour vessel can match in Los Cabos.
Twin hulls eliminate the rolling motion that causes discomfort on monohulls, making every crossing smooth even when the breeze freshens. The salon is shaded and spacious. The bow trampolines are stretched for sun-seekers. The stern swim platform sits just above the waterline for effortless ocean entry.
With capacity for up to 30 guests on a fully private charter, the Zig Zag is the vessel of choice for resort guests, corporate groups, wedding parties, and anyone who has decided that their time in Cabo deserves something extraordinary.

The Crew
Certified. Bilingual. Genuinely Passionate About the Sea.
The Zig Zag is commanded by a Yacht Master–certified captain who has navigated the waters between Cabo San Lucas, the Pacific corridor, and the Sea of Cortez for years. He knows where the dolphins run, where the humpbacks breach, and exactly when to set sail to catch the golden light over the Arch.
Our certified sailor-chef handles all onboard service — from plating gourmet snacks to managing the bar — with the attentiveness and discretion you’d expect at a world-class resort. Both crew members are bilingual in English and Spanish, and experienced in hosting guests from the most demanding luxury properties in Los Cabos.
This isn’t a seasonal job for them — it’s a vocation. And it shows in every detail of how they run the boat.

Frequently Asked Questions
About the Zig Zag
How many people can the Zig Zag accommodate?+
The Zig Zag comfortably accommodates up to 30 guests on a private charter basis. This makes it ideal for large family gatherings, corporate groups, wedding parties, and resort excursions. The wide catamaran deck ensures everyone has ample space to relax, move freely, and enjoy the views without feeling crowded — something virtually impossible on a conventional monohull of the same length.
What makes the Zig Zag different from a regular tour boat?+
The Zig Zag is a Belize 43 Fountain Pajot catamaran — a French-built offshore cruising yacht widely regarded as one of the finest production catamarans ever made. Where most tour boats trade quality for capacity, the Zig Zag was built for comfort at sea: twin hulls eliminate the rocking motion that causes seasickness, the salon is air-conditioned and spacious, and the deck layout is designed specifically for lounging and entertaining. It is the most luxurious vessel of its category in Los Cabos.
Is the charter truly private, or will there be other guests?+
Every booking aboard the Zig Zag is 100% private. We never combine groups or sell individual spots. When you step aboard, the entire 43-foot catamaran is yours — the deck, the salon, the crew’s attention, and the itinerary. Whether you’re a group of 8 or 30, you will not share the vessel with strangers.
What tours can I do on the Zig Zag?+
The Zig Zag is available for all Sail Baja Adventures experiences: sunset sailing, snorkeling at Pelican Rock and Lover’s Beach, seasonal whale watching (December–April), moonlight sails, and fully custom private charters for events, weddings, and corporate outings. We can also combine experiences — for example, a snorkeling afternoon followed by a sunset return sail — depending on your group’s preferences and the time of year.
Is food and drink included?+
Yes — every tour aboard the Zig Zag includes gourmet snacks, fresh seasonal fruit, and a full bar with beer, wine, sodas, and water. Premium spirits packages and custom catered menus are available for private charters and special events. Our certified sailor-chef takes care of all onboard service so your guests can focus entirely on enjoying the experience. Dietary restrictions and special requests are accommodated with advance notice.
Where does the Zig Zag depart from in Cabo?+
The Zig Zag is moored at Cabo San Lucas Marina, Dock F — one of the most central and easily accessible departure points in Los Cabos, steps from the main marina promenade. Parking is available nearby. After booking, we send complete meeting instructions so there’s no guesswork on the day of your sail.
Is the Zig Zag suitable for guests who get seasick?+
Catamarans are significantly more stable than monohull sailboats or motor yachts. The twin-hull design reduces lateral rolling dramatically, making the Zig Zag one of the most comfortable vessels in Los Cabos for guests who are sensitive to motion. Most guests who have experienced discomfort on other boats in Cabo report a far more comfortable ride aboard the Zig Zag. That said, we recommend consulting your physician about seasickness prevention if you have significant concerns.
